A close shave.

A short distance from the main railway station in Nice stands the "Chemin de Fer de Provence" newly-renovated façade of the smaller station whose sole destination is the town of Digne, up north in the mountains.
Residents of the neighbourhood managed to save the building from being knocked down and replaced by some horrendous modern tower.
To make up for this controversial episode, the town council decided to restore its past grandiose façade. But only the façade stands as there's no building behind...
